    By phone or the form, with as much detail and as many photographs as you can: what you've noticed, how urgent it is, roughly when suits you.

    We study what you send us

    Photographs and information about the job, so we can give you a written estimate.

    You get a written estimate

    Before any work starts, so you can see the likely cost first. If something comes to light that changes it, we explain before carrying on.

    We do the work

    On the date agreed. If the price needs to change, we tell you why first.

Frequently asked questions

Do you charge to attend?

We charge for the first hour to attend. That hour includes up to an hour to resolve the fault, and we explain what we find and what any further work will cost before you decide.

What areas do you cover?

We cover the whole of Leeds and the surrounding area, including Headingley, Roundhay, Chapel Allerton, Horsforth and Armley. Don’t see your area listed? Get in touch, we probably still cover it.

How quickly can you come out?

We aim to book most jobs within the week. If your enquiry involves an electrical emergency, say so when you contact us and we will treat it as a priority.

What proof of qualification will my electrician carry?

Every electrician working under Martin Day Electricians carries their NICEIC identification and can show it on request. We are an NICEIC Approved Contractor and Part P registered, and carry £5,000,000 public liability cover on every job.
